We praise the Lord for a fruitful Spring Work Camp.  The weather started out bad, but that gave us a chance to burn a great deal of the brush wood that is still cluttering the grounds.  We are grateful to the 20 or so people who worked hard to tidy up the grounds, clean the chapel, and set up the breakfast nook for the work team coming in May.  Summer Work Camp is July 23 (Sat.), but there's lots of work to do between now and then!

FALL FUN - Autumn Family Work Camp

Special thanks to all those who gave of their time and energies for the Autumn Family Work Camp.  The chapel is looking great and a great deal of fallen branches and leaves were put in their respective places (bonfires, the staff house garden, etc.).  "Jehovah Jirah - “On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”  May the Lord make provision for ACC's next 60 years of ministry, and may he make this a place of blessing for many.  Let us continue in prayer together for the re-creation of the Aomori Christian Center, lifting up our eyes to the Lord Jesus Christ, our living hope.

夏のファミリーワークキャンプ

We were blessed with lovely weather for our Summer Work Camp.  Thank you so much to all those who came out to serve in this way.  The major cleaning of the chapel and cabins went nicely and the prep-work for construction on the cabins is now more-or-less complete.  Tomorrow our two volunteers on a short term missions trip from Galilee Presbyterian Church in Singapore will arrive.  They will be staying the week in Joy Cabin so, in preparation for that, Luke and another volunteer will spend the night in said cabin to make sure that all is in order.

On August 5,6 an employee of the forestry union and another forestry worker came in and cut down some of our excess trees that have been crowding our landscape and blocking out the sunlight.  A number of folks brought chainsaws to work camp and got busy with the clean-up.
